Overview
Northline Carpentry operates this storefront for the sale and commissioning of made-to-order furniture, cabinetry, and objects. Shopify powers checkout and Makewright Configurator supports product specifications and quote requests.
By using the site, requesting a quote, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Specifications & Quotes
Measurements, materials, finishes, access notes, and other selections become part of the project specification. You are responsible for confirming that submitted measurements and site information are accurate.
A quote is an estimate until Northline confirms scope, schedule, delivery, and payment terms in writing. Quotes may expire and may change if the specification changes.
Orders & Payment
An order is accepted when we issue written confirmation and receive any required deposit or payment. Prices may exclude tax, delivery, installation, or site work unless expressly included.
Custom work may require staged payments. Fabrication may pause if a scheduled payment or approval is delayed.
Natural Materials
Timber, stone, leather, and hand-applied finishes naturally vary in color, grain, texture, and movement. Samples and screen images communicate a range, not an exact match. These variations are part of the material and are not defects.
Schedule & Delivery
Lead times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. Material availability, approvals, site readiness, weather, carriers, and changes to scope can affect timing.
The customer is responsible for accurate access information and a safe, ready delivery site. Additional handling or return visits caused by undisclosed access conditions may be billed separately.
Changes, Cancellation & Returns
Changes requested after approval may affect price and schedule. Deposits and payments applied to design, materials, or fabrication are non-refundable to the extent work has been performed or costs incurred.
Made-to-order and custom pieces cannot be returned for preference changes. If a delivered piece differs materially from the approved specification, contact us promptly so we can repair, remake, or otherwise resolve it.
Intellectual Property
Northline Carpentry owns the site content, furniture designs, drawings, photographs, and related intellectual property unless stated otherwise. Purchase of a piece does not transfer reproduction or manufacturing rights.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northline Carpentry is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the site, a delay, or a product. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected product or service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by Minnesota law. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Hennepin County, Minnesota, unless the parties agree to another resolution process.
